This project arrived at our door as a cautionary tale. The previous builder had left it half-finished, with structural issues that threatened the entire build. The clients were understandably frustrated – they'd paid for a premium deck and received an incomplete, poorly executed foundation. They called us to salvage the situation.

When we arrived on site, it was clear why the original work had to be abandoned:

We removed the faulty frame entirely and started fresh. This wasn't cosmetic work – we rebuilt the entire substructure from the ground up using our signature steel frame system. Custom-designed stairs integrate perfectly with the deck design, created in collaboration with designer Stephanie Tara Derby.
